We ordered over 100 empanadas for my sons 1st birthday the chicken and beef was the talk of the party keep up the great work and as a tip people when you are ordering large quantities order 24 hrs before

Great value & tasty food! Usually order whole roast chicken combo with rice & beans and separate order of the chicken soup. The chicken is moist & flavorful and the soup is hearty & they give actual pieces of chicken unlike other places. Take out is the best way to go but you can sit upstairs if you want to take in the local scene. This is a definite must!

Excellent cafe con leche, tostada, and eggs. Mofongo tasty but not great. Friendly service with no fuss at this modest lunch counter.

I eat there all the time I love the teacher from Rice and beans I love before and the people are very nice and warm and courteous

I could eat the carne guisada with rose and beans and maduros everyday of the week. It's that good Also chicken is great!! Fast delivery

I was in that area the other morning and was hungry for a "good" breakfast. I typed in "mangu" in the maps app and these guys came up. I had mangu con los 3 golpes. They fried my egg to order not like most of these places that have the eggs on a hot tray. The mangu was perfect and the cheese crispy not rubbery. Solid 5 's PRO TIP: don't be deterred by their "attitude" like another fellow yelper commented. I found they're focused on their job and will stop to answer direct questions but keep it moving. They are nice if you are nice.

Best Dominican Diner in NYC! The food is so tasty and fresh. The service is exceptional. Gleny, who runs the place, treats everyone like an old friend. Skip the more expensive Malecon across the street and head for some of the best authentic Dominican food at El Economico! The tripe soup and oxtail are particularly delicious. The prices are right and they even have Dominican Cake! Simply the best in The Bronx!

Ordered take out for the fam! Sunday dinner. We love baked chicken, arroz blanco, salad, maduros,! Yummmmmmmmm This place is staple in the community. Has been around since I was a little girl. They don't over season or under season. Pretty perfect. Home made fresh. Prices are ok. The woman that took my order over the phone was super pleasant! Thanks
